ECO Warden Training

Sentrysk Consulting delivers Emergency Control Organisation (ECO) / Warden Training in full alignment with AS 3745:2010 – Planning for Emergencies in Facilities. Our training equips wardens and emergency personnel with the knowledge and practical skills needed to respond effectively during emergencies. This includes understanding the structure and roles within the ECO, activation procedures, communication protocols, evacuation and lockdown processes, and coordination with emergency services.

Training is tailored to each site’s emergency plan and risk profile, ensuring relevance and confidence in real situations. Sessions can include theoretical instruction, scenario-based exercises, and practical simulations to reinforce learning. We also provide refresher training, and session records to support compliance with AS 3745:2010 and organisational due diligence requirements.

Emergency Response Exercises

We take pride in and deliver Emergency Response Exercises to test and strengthen an organisation’s preparedness, procedures, and decision-making under realistic conditions. Exercises are tailored to the site’s risk profile and emergency plans, aligning with AS 3745:2010 requirements. We design and facilitate a range of exercises, including tabletop scenarios, functional drills, and full-scale simulations, covering incidents such as evacuations, lockdowns, medical emergencies, fire, and security threats.

Exercises incorporate realistic injects to challenge participants, test communication and coordination, and evaluate the effectiveness of the Emergency Control Organisation (ECO). Following each exercise, we provide a detailed after-action report with observations, lessons learned, and practical recommendations, helping clients improve procedures, training, and overall readiness for real emergencies.

Situational Awareness Training

Sentrysk Consulting delivers Situational Awareness Training to enhance the ability of staff and security personnel to observe, assess, and respond to potential threats or hazards in their environment. The training focuses on improving observation skills, recognising suspicious behaviour, identifying hazards, and understanding environmental cues that may indicate risk. Participants learn structured methods for scanning and reporting, decision-making under pressure, and proactive risk mitigation.

The program is tailored to the client’s site, operations, and risk profile, and can include practical exercises, scenario-based learning, and real-time observation drills. By developing stronger situational awareness, organisations improve early detection of incidents, support safer workplaces, and enable more effective responses during emergencies.

Conflict Resolution

Sentrysk Consulting delivers Conflict Resolution Training to equip staff and security personnel with the skills needed to manage and de-escalate challenging situations safely and effectively. The training focuses on recognising triggers, applying verbal and non-verbal communication techniques, maintaining personal safety, and resolving conflicts without escalation.

Scenarios are tailored to the client’s environment, such as retail, public spaces, or corporate facilities, and include practical exercises to reinforce learning. By improving staff confidence and competence in managing disputes, organisations reduce the likelihood of incidents escalating, enhance workplace safety, and support a positive, controlled environment for both employees and visitors.
